First leaked photos of Intel's Ark Alchemist graphics card

These may be the first leaked photos of Intel's Ark Alchemist graphics card

Intel is manufacturing dedicated gaming graphics cards, due out in the first quarter of 2022, and we may have got our first look at the big Ark Alchemist. Here are some leaked images from YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead (via Videocardz):

The Arc is Intel's new GPU brand, designed to compete with Nvidia GeForce and AMD Radeon, and the Arc Alchemist is the first GPU in the company's roadmap to actually be released. The company had previously built the Intel DG1 to test the waters of GPUs, but it was a comparatively weak card based on the Xe LP (low-power) graphics architecture, and consumers couldn't really afford it. This new card is part of Intel's XE HPG roadmap (high-power/gaming) and is said to offer similar performance to the Nvidia RTX 3070, thanks to 512 execution units (EU) and 16GB of GDDR6 memory Thank you.

Leaks suggest that Intel may also have multiple versions of its "DG2" GPUs in the works, including lighter versions with 448 EU, 384 EU, 256 EU, or 128 EU. Even this particular graphics core will exceed the number of clusters that Intel typically has integrated into its CPUs.
