Dr. Dre's exclusive GTA Online tracks now available on Spotify and Apple Music

Rockstar Games has announced that six Dr. Dre tracks are now available on music streaming services including Apple Music and Spotify. As well as Dre, the track features guest appearances by Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Anderson. Pak, Busta Rhymes, Nipsey Hussle and Ty Dole $ignore.

GTA is part of a growing list of games that have introduced new music. Guns N' Roses premiered the song "Shackler's Revenge" on Rock Band 2 in 2008, and Weezer included four unreleased songs from his Black album in a custom map in Fortnite in 2019. But Dre's collaboration with GTA Online was a little more interesting. The rapper actually appeared in the game itself, and a major storyline involved recovering a stolen phone with new music.

Although the music integration looks good, reviews were a little more mixed for the update. "While GTA Online is currently set," Kotaku wrote, "it is still a very old game with some very frustrating problems that suit its nearly decade-old status." Hopefully the game's impending arrival on current-gen consoles next month will help freshen up the experience.
